Hi All,
I decided to help all true Tesla followers by compiling the facts
and speculations on Tesla’s Teleforce Bulb. The facts and
speculations were divided carefully based on whether there
was some concrete evidence backed by Tesla’s own writing or
interviews to make it into one list or the other.
I hope you guys appreciate the effort and time I put into
putting this together. I would like to take the opportunity
to thank Luke, Bill, and Tesla, as without their answers to
my many questions I could not have been able to compile this
list of facts. My regards to all,

FACTS:
Bulb consists of a solid aluminum hemisphere as a "ray source"
Vacuum space removed (eliminated the vacuum, flat end open to the atmosphere)
Could sustain millions of volts without breaking down the insulator (glass?)
Single terminal (electrode)
Targetless bulb (has no target/emission plate)
Primary emission is not X-rays or neutrons nor gamma rays
X-rays emitted as secondary emissions
Beam emitted from FLAT end (face)
No space between the aluminum emitter and the HV electrode
Aluminum hemisphere encapsulated with a contact in glass using a specific
process to avoid air bubbles
Emitted "hair like" ray, could superimpose anything (intelligence, power)
Transmit beam to "any distance" with "little or no lose"
Used in Flying Machines to "draw in" the tubes of force and to keep the
ship in a certain position
No one knows how Tesla created this "thin line" beam
Radiation of the bulb is able to pass through the ordinary barriers,
with other radiations requires a much harder method
Not subject to wear (no longer had the problem of the shattering glass)
Since Tesla lived to the age of 88 tell us that he was not experiencing
radiation poisoning (produces radiation which is harmless to the human being)
This bulb produced a blue glow in the lab when in use at several million volts
The beam from the bulb will carry "heavy currents"
The action of the bulb is not that it will ionize the atmosphere,
but that it will create a pathway for electrical current and the "tubes of force"
Particle beam weapon, composed of high velocity particles such as those emitted by the sun
Beam does not "fan-out" and in fact produces parallel rays and even focused ones
Tesla trained the beam on his head for 40 minutes and said it only made him a little sleepy
Beam from the bulb will produce radiographs (even 100 feet away since the beam rays are parallel)
Tesla’s single terminal coil would produce the rapidly carrying electrostatic
discharges which could be operated with the bulb over 10 million volts
No one, not even Tesla, clearly identified the exact type of radiation coming from the bulb
Tesla used it for transmutation experiments
We still don’t know what the tiny device that he could "slip in his back pocket",
and produced the fine beam, was, except it was constructed of "iron, copper and aluminum"
constructed in an "unusual way"
The "brush" is used in conjunction with the single terminal aluminum hemispherical untargeted bulb
to create the "veritable ropes of air"
Since bulb could carry the brush discharge in any desired direction in a very focused beam
similar to a laser, given rise to the "veritable ropes" description
Microscopic electrical particles of matter will be catapulted on their mission of defensive destruction
Tesla’s high potential targetless tube, from 1896 (not his special tube) was adopted by imitators.
With slight modifications it was employed in research laboratories and scientific institutions and
virtually all atomic investigations were carried by it. Managed to produced very much higher
potentials between 4 to 18 million volts between 1896 and 1898
Tesla found more difficult to improve his 1896 targetless tube "not so much in the construction
but in the operation of the tube"
New tube will be hard to improve further. It is of ideal simplicity, not subject to wear,
and can be operated at any potential, however high, that can be produced.
It will carry heavy currents, transform any amount of energy within practical limits and it
permits easy control and regulation of the same.
It will enable the production of cheap "radium substitutes" in any desired quantity and will be,
in general, immensely "more effective in the smashing of atoms" and the transmutation of matter.
New method and apparatus for the obtainment of vacuum. What maybe accomplish by means of such
vacuum is a matter of conjecture, but it is obvious that they will make possible the production
of "more intense effects in electron tubes"
SPECULATIONS:
Tesla devised a unique vacuum seal by directing a high-velocity air stream at the tip of his gun
to maintain "high vacuum". The necessary pumping action would be accomplished with one of his
turbines
May have made the first "radiographs"
Tesla had to be shooting something like neutrinos, positrons or neutrons which could pass
through the ordinary atomic barriers with ease
The secret of his improved targetless bulb was that Tesla used corona rings to prevent the
unwanted stray discharge which shattered the glass at over 4 million volts
Tesla build an accelerator
Possibility that Tesla used other metals for his improved bulb as "he does not specifically
say that it was aluminum"
There maybe some UV radiation emitted from Tesla’s bulb along with whatever else is produced
At very high voltages (5 to 18 million volts) the bulb must have emitted some dangerous radiation
Tesla coated his bulbs in a vacuum with a type of glass, perhaps with a large content of fluorine,
which has the ability to prevent the surface oxidation on aluminum. In order for this to be
successful the glass would have to be of low melting temperature (so as not to melt the aluminum)
and have very similarity in coefficient of expansion, so that the glass could not crack when the
aluminum hemisphere and glass cooled.
His generator/beam device included the special aluminum bulb plus the unipolar disc generator
Bulb could be used to receive power at the other end
Bismuth is the most likely metal that Tesla used in his transmutation to radium.
